The Electronic Depot was brought to offer you name brand equipment at unbelievable savings without compromising on quality.
Where do our items come from????
We buy overstock and surplus and brand new products from many national warehouses and receive their: Factory Close Outs, Store Closeout items, Seasonal product, Display items or Open Package items, Packaging Changes, and Customer Returns. All items are fully inspected and tested before they are placed for sale By doing so we are able to offer you the best top quality brand name merchandise at the most reasonable prices you could want. Overstocked products are mostly brand new products that usually have only minor cosmetic imperfections, which can include things like being packaged in dented or damaged boxes, boxes that have previously been opened, etc. None are defective in workmanship or performance. They are all like new with all original accessories and manufacturer's warranty. Otherwise, we will note on each item page specifically whether item has been used , supplied accessories or if item is brand new. Please note: We sell "BRAND NEW", refurbished and display models type products.
Why buy "new" when you can get the same equipment in factory refurbished for up to 50% savings without experiencing any difference? Manufacturers are extremely assured about their refurbished products and offer the original warranty from 90 days to 2 years. Statistics state that consumers who have already purchased a factory refurbished item will never buy "new" again. So why not become a smart shopper?!
Here are some frequently asked questions and
statistics:
What is considered factory refurbished?
A: There are lots of things that can label items factory refurbished. Some are so frivolous, its laughable. But because consumer laws prevent manufacturers from selling anything considered factory refurbished as "new", the second consumer gets the
best deal.
Here are a few examples:
*
Most major retail superstores offer a 30-day money back guarantee on their
products and there are those consumers that just simply take advantage of that.
These items are returned to the manufacturer, inspected and repackaged like new.
*
Items where the box or casing was damaged in shipment which are returned
to the manufacturer.
*
The box was simply opened. Thats it!
*
Brand new overstocked items are also labeled factory refurbished.
Why should I buy refurbished equipment?
*
Refurbished items have a much lower defect rate. From 10 units that come back
for repair only 1 is usually a factory refurb, because refurbished units are tested
before they are sold.
Bottom line, if all the benefits of buying a refurbished product are the same as a new one even the warranty, the only "drawback" you would notice is probably a little label on the outside of the box So, think again, Are you shopping smart?
